Description:

Biggs|Gilmore is seeking a Flash developer to work with and assist the lead developer and other team members in application design and implementation of Web projects based on business requirements. This individual will have:

Requirements:

Technical Skills
  • At least two years’ experience in Flash development, including ActionScript
  • Expert knowledge of ActionScript 2.0 language and components
  • Experience with Flash-based game development
  • Experience in Flash optimization techniques
  • Working knowledge of technologies like Web Services and XML
  • Experience with Web technologies such as JavaScript, XHTML and CSS
  • Experience in full life cycle of software development: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation
  • Familiarity with process-modeling techniques
  • Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
  • Experience in creating software architecture documents or other design artifacts
Consulting Skills
  • Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgments
  • Good client presence
  • Ability to work well with teams or in a team environment

Education / Training / Experience

BA or BS in related field. At least two years’ programming experience in Flash is required.
