We’re looking for an Associate Project Manager who, under the guidance of a Project Manager or Account Manager, is responsible for clearly defining and managing project scope, time and cost for Interactive or Web-based projects.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Project Manager or Account Manager, manage all aspects of projects (as listed below) with budgets up to $100,000
• Assist in the development of proposals and estimates to ensure that what is being proposed can be produced on time and on budget
• Develop project management plans for communication, scope, time, cost, quality and risk for assigned projects
• Maintain an issue log and ensure that B|G management and client are apprised of issues that result in serious risk
• Manage client expectations
• Ensure that all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented
• Direct, motivate and manage the project team
• Facilitate communication with all involved and “manage” the stakeholders
• Manage trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost
• Manage and deliver the required product(s) for each project phase
• Communicate issues to the next level of management

• Associate’s degree in a related subject or the equivalent in experience and education.
• Minimum of two years working in a similar role.
• CAPM Certification must be obtained within first year of service.
• Very strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, while maintaining excellent working relationships.
• Very strong problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, with ability to prioritize work when working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, with little or no direct supervision. Must be a self-starter.
